i have a ?....6500k is the best for veging...because its daylight...but is 2700k the best for flowering..or preferred.....

Thats correct...

However, Some people use a combination of both 6500K & 2700K. If you do this during veg then you want more 6500K then the other.. and visa versa...

y do ppl use a combo of both...i se how it could boost the watts and lumen..but wouldnt that kind of take away the purpose of buying a 6500k light...its to emulate daylight....so is having both lights taking away from the plant somehow

Think of the 6500K "Daylight" CFL as your spring and summertime light. This is when the sun is highest in the sky and gives off more Blue light spectrum than red. Once the sun goes into a fall and wintertime place in the sky, there is only 12 hours of light. Also, because the sun is lower in the sky, it gives off more red light spectrum (2700K). People use the different lights to emulate how the sun gives energy during the seasons.
