600 watt vs 1000 watt hps HEAT

How much more heat does a 1000 watt hps put out then a 600 watt hps? Is it a huge difference? Yield wise would it be worth replacing a 600 watt with a 1000 watt in a 3'x3' closet?

agreed. A 1000 watt will give you heat issues without major consideration beforehand.

vent well. i have a 1k in a 3'11" x 3'11" and i need a heater in winter.

rule of thumb: 600 is ALMOST half os 1000, so 1000 is almost twice as hot...ya dig?

oh alright i have a 600 now but if its twice as hot i cant use it lol right now my temps stay in the low 70s

if its used right you get the same bud result as a 1k cause we can run it closer to them and get more lumens pentration...if used right. and is cheeper to run.
