600 watt light for a 2x4 tent?

If i had a fan running constantly to keep the temp down, would a 600 watt MH be too much for a 2x4 tent?

I want to keep my mothers and veg under a 600 watt MH in a 2x4 tent before i transfer to my flowering tent and i'm afraid it might just be too much light for that space

Too much heat for sure. Maybe with a cooltube? I run a 2 by 4 with 32 cubic feet, and an exhaust fan that operates at 171 CFM, with less than 250 watts of LEDs and CFLs, and its hard to keep my temps low.

I have 2 400 watt HPS lights in my 4x4 tent with a 250 CFM fan and i'm ok with temp. it never goes over 80F, even a foot away form the lights. i'm just afraid a 600 watt MH might be too much for a 2x4 tent :/

i just really want a 600 watter cause if i ever expand i can still use it. also i found lumatek 600 watt digital ballast for only 150$

I had heat issues in a closet, space was 2' x 4' but actual growing area is 2' x 2'. Under a 400w HPS I had heat issues and burned my ladies a little bit. Don't have the ability to take the actual temp of the closet, but with the HPS it was noticeably uncomfortable for me to stand in there. No fans.

I'm running a CMH now, and heat is no longer a major concern for my setup.
