6 socket cfl's

hey.. well I was trying to figure a way to easily plug in 6 cfl's in one socket.. I was thinkin about gettin 2 power bars and buyin 6 of the light sockets that plug in the power bars.. until I found this at the thrift store. its a pic off google. anyways my question is can i safely plug in 6 (40) watt cfl's into this? and if i can can i do that and have a power bar with another 3 (40) watters, all into the same breaker? oh and how many small plants do u think I could grow with this setup? i wanna bud them when there like 8-10 inches tall.. THX

They would be a little more spread out than would be ideal, but i don't see why it wouldn't handle the lights...

ya cuz its only 240 watts.. and with the other 3 (40)'s itl be 360 watts.. im gonna put the bathroom fixture with the 6 cfl's on top.. should i put the power bar with the extra 3 (40)'s on the side or also on the top?

And what i dont understand is that the (40) watters are 10 bucks each and the (45) watters are 15 bucks?? weird huh guess im going to use the 40's... and i dont wanna hear (oh just buy a hid light..) hahah I have some but im very interested in this multy cfl grow.. THX

any more info would be very appreicative... maybe some who has used 40 watters... how close should they be to the plant during veg and flowering?
