Yup last night I was outside in 44 degree weather cursing my tomatoes and covering them with trash bags as we were supposed to freeze by morning, and we did.Shut off the heaters in my greenhouse last week, have my dwarf citrus trees and tomatoes/peppers(destined for garden) in there. So, of course last night it dipped to 30F in there. Too early to tell what level of damage, have to wait a few hours. Won't kill them but it can kill all the new growth. A few days ago it was 90d/50n.
Shitty..Yup last night I was outside in 44 degree weather cursing my tomatoes and covering them with trash bags as we were supposed to freeze by morning, and we did.
I'm refusing to mow grass until it's at least 60°.I was mowing grass in the snow this morning. Wtf???
Haven't mowed my own yet. Although with all the dogs and chickens ours doesn't grow much anyway.I'm refusing to mow grass until it's at least 60°.
It's bad enough I'm still running the tractor to pick up leaves in December.
I'd best be quiet about it being around 80°F and sunny as hell here just now...@Karah we've gotten almost three foot of snow in the last couple days.. so far I've got 30" inches.. that's what she said.lol...
It's 37° right now and slushy so driving is a bitch.. no schools in the surrounding areas have been open because of the shitty roads( mainly back roads)
