6" Home Depot inline fan

theres a cool diy thread here on how to make one of those black 3 speed honeywell fans into an inline, and those are 30$ so figure 40$+ with materials

No matter what,it won't handls static pressure like a true inline centrifugal from a hydro shop.

I am running a BD360 black dog led inside a 3x4x6 closet.
my 6 inch booster fan is not keeping my temps low enough, and I am replacing it with a true inline fan with speed control.
that cheap booster fan is noisy, and not very good at pushing air through filters.

bitch 2 people has said it fucking work so bitch shut the fuck up bitch

And the masses are telling you once you add pressure losses to the fan by connecting ducting, carbon filter, bends in ducting that they do not work anywhere near as good as an actual inline centrifugal or mixed flow fan.

Duct boosters = crap when dealing with pressure losses.

Inline centrifugals and mixed flow fans FTW.

No pro or breeder uses duct boosters.

no need to be rude fella.

I'm a gangster and my penis is bigger than yours. just get a real fan.
im a gangster too that why i had to get gangster with that bitch and i dont think your penis is bigger than mines because your wife told me that mines was bigger and yours was the size of her finger lmao

Nope that will not work....when people refer to fans for cooling a HID light that size they are typically talking about an "inline" fan I use a 4" 180 CFM (vortex) fan when I had my 400 HPS in a 2x4x8 closet. That fan you linked from home depot is a booster fan and they do not move enough air. Some will use those to help intake and have seen them used for outtake but for smaller setups. The fan you need is not sold at home depot or lowes. Good luck!
can a 4 inch line fan fit into a 6 inch air cooled hood ?

I bought a HGT supply inline 4" fan with the tall boy carbon filter also a fan speed controller, check my "still smells" thread for more info on this setup

I have 2 of those fans here, and would love to convert them...only cannot locate link.
