6" Carbon filter

Roll of Velcro will solve that. I have a 8" 65lb carbon filter hanging 9' up with it. Don't budge.

Ok, o seem to have the carbon filter up for now, but my temp in the tent is going up.
Why is that?

Long wave radiation, ambient temperature of outer room is raising. implement's inside the tent are heating up. Humidity is dropping. Inefficient lighting.
A lot of variables pick one. :-)

Should I have the inline fan blowing out or should I turn it around and have it blowing in?

Rh was 26 temp was 84. Now since I cut the filter off and the fans...rh is going up its 33 temp is 81

It should be blowing out. The motor could be adding the heat. I keep the motors outside and pipe to it. Got an intake fan or you running passive?

I just have regular fans plus that new filter. Did u see the pictures? Does it look like I have it hooked up right?

Yeah it looks right. I think the heat rise is from the fan motor and humidity drop from the fan sucking it out. Is the room the tent is in hot or warm?

You should have vent holes on the bottom of the tent to let air in, it may help a little with heat unless the room is hot it will be the same. Humidity is going to stay low with the exhaust on.

Couple of options. Fan motor outside will be one less heat source inside but will rH drop or vent the filter inside the tent but tent will have positive pressure and balloon some humidity shouldn't change. Or Get a temp/humidity controller to cycle the fans.

Just have to hook it up hand hang it.

Ill try that, but yeah that room is pretty, warm already as its over the Garage..plus we in Vegas...100+ degrees out here. What do you think about me turning the fan motor around so where it will suck in the hot air from the inside of the tent, and blow it through the carbon filter so it will be scrubbing out hot air and pushing through cold air through the filter? Or just putting the whole filter outside of the tent?

Tents gonna be 100+ too. I'd try outside tent and light cycle at nigh, night cycle in the day. How I run my Hid or temps get ridiculous.

Suck air through the filter inside the tent. Then exhaust out of the house.

That is the only way to keep temps down. If you exhaust back into the house or room it will heat up.

You can blow out the filter but it is more efficient sucking through the filter.

Hook the filter to the suction side of the fan and then run a exhaust hose out the tent then out a window or dryer vent.

You can buy ducting for clothe dryers at any hardware store. Then get a cheap 4 inch dryer vent and no one would know the difference.
