Nice looking plant but foil is not good, mylar or black&white well worth the price.

people say foil is bad, this can be true however, you will be fine as long as you are not seeing any burn spots in the leaves.

foil's bad not because of hot spots, but reflection... white paint is more reflective

Thank you obonga, while I do agree with the white paint idea, many do argue that the waviness of the foil can concentrate the light being reflected causing it to burn the leaves.

that can happen with any reflective material that crinkles though... probably wont happen with tin foil because it doesn't reflect that well... it's happen to me with mylar... his shit looks mad crinkly... most of the light probably isn't even reflecting on the plants

you can... it all depends on your pot size.. your plants may get root bound
