5th week into flowering can i still take a clone

hey wow i was about to do this exact thing tommorow, i believe it can work it will jus take longer to root and then revert to veg, like looking about 3 weeks for this to happen maybe longer. im putting 30 in a rubbermaid we modded with 4-8 inch airstones pumps and 3" net pots with neophane sleeves

Can i. Take a clone 5th week into flowering

ok thank you.... another question im in the fith week and new buds are just now starting to form at the bottom .. should i clip them to promote more gr owth on top???

I cut a clone on a flowering plant on aug 18th. it is just now starting to show new growth. there was a two week period i thought it was dead or going to die

its never to late to clone.
can i clone a flowering female ?????????.
Yes, but a cutting taken while the stock plant is flowering will need to be forced to revert back to a vegetative state under 24 hour light. This causes additional stress, slowing growth and development. Rooting may take up to three times longer when the cuttings are taken during the flowering cycle. The cutting may not have enough stored nutrients or carbohydrates to survive. If you must do this then take the cutting when the mother plant is only a week or two into flowering.

Additional comment...
The above "flowering plant" is to be taken verbatim.
However, the above should not to be confused with a sexy mom who has been showing her
primordia aka pre flowers while vegging, and has been kept in a vegetative state of growth for several months or years. These old mature primordia displaying moms clone just as well as a premature seedling.
LUDA.

;-)

You lose potency when you take a cutting from a flowering mama (and a clone from a clone), I did it to G13's Pure Gold. There's a diff but its not too too bad. Good luck man lookin good
