500w Blackstar, Semi-Organic Soil, Vanilla Kush, Kosher Kush!

So, this are the things I'm using

1 - BlackStar 500w LED
1 - 6inch Duct Fan
1 - Carbon Filter
1 - 4x2x5 Gotham Grow Tent

I say semi-organic cause I'm using sunshine mix #4, and using Subcool's Super Soil Mix(this is just for the Kosher)
Vanilla are in Pro-Mix Organic they are being fed with BloodBud for the first week, 4 weeks with Bigbud and 1 week with Overdrive(shit is expensive). The closet stays, steady 80F and 62F at night. Humidity ranges from 40-50%. Be Gentle with me, I do need help as this my first proper indoor. The vanilla out of 5 seeds got 2 indica short and fat, 3 sativa-indica. Not bad genetics from what I read.


The pic are old i started the kosher ending January and Vanilla are already in a month flowering.

Ok so this is the Vanilla Kush, the 2 in the back are 4 weeks into flowering, the 2 in the front are 2 week and 3 weeks into flowering.

Question: My leaves are curling down, they have since i started them, is this over fertilizing or can it be genetics?

doesnt look bad at all. it could be under or over watering but im not sure. looks sweet tho man i just ordered myself a blackstar 240. did you use the same blackstar the whole growth? good luck with the rest of your bloom.

Could be lack of some nutrient in my opinion!! Are you using any kind of spray on the leaves? (some sprays in excess could make it)

I water twice a week, I used CFL's for vegging the first month on all my plants, trying to harvest once a month. Blackstar is worth the money, minus my power outlet on the blackstar is funny sometimes.

I do use only half doses of the nuts, cause I read that Vanilla Kush is sensitive. No spary's.

if you are using supersoil, you may have put too much supersoil at the bottom of your container and basically your soil would be too hot,... the same thing has happened to me this current grow and things are slowly coming back to normal... if you used subcool's supersoil, you should use plain water for a little while and see.

WEEK 2 from seed

My little Kosher's are doing really good. Started 3 other kinds, Northern Light x Big Bud from World of Seeds, Fruity Chronic Juice from Delicious Seeds, and an auto Hobbit from Kannabia seeds. All pop'd and are planted!!!

Kosher Kush

Watch the kannabia auto closely. Grew a couple kannabia auto white dominas a while back, way bomb, but kannabia autos are known for taking much longer than other autos. Had to go like 11/13 or 10/14 to get them to flower. Check out the kannabia website for more details if you havent yet. Good luck!

Thanks that good to know, I was gonna put the Hobbit in the flower room, and try to make some feminized seeds with it. So I can do some quick outdoor

Just joined this thread. I'm using the same Blackstar 500's. two tents 4x4x6.5. 1 dirt, 1 hydro. Both GC strain. Keeping the light at 12"-14" during flower Ph is 6.5 on soil and 5.8 on hydro. Let it grow, let it grow, let it grow...

Hey guys! I'm gonna be watchin' this thread also. I've had some experience with VK for over a year now. I've also been curious about the Blackstar led's for a while. Keep on rollin'.

The Kosher Kush at 3 weeks from seed gonna veg it for another 3 more weeks and Hobbit, Fruity chronic juice, N.L x Big bud seedlings.

Really like the Kosher Kush all look like the same phenotype. Gonna top them next week.

UPDATE!
So I couldn't find all the organic supplement for my SuperSoil, so I decided to just use Sunshine Mix #4 and I got Advance Nutrient Micro,Grow,Bloom,Bloodbud,BigBud, and OverDrive.
Here are my Kosher Kush freshly transplanted for Flowering room. They look a little sloppy but they will survive



I do have DWC kits coming in the next few weeks, and ill probably throw in my old HPS in the room.

how'd these come out? the 6 week shots seem a bit airy but interested to hear how much they fattened up the last few weeks. What kind of yield did you get? i'm thinking about getting 2 500 watts.
