After initial denials last week that any of the approximately 70 in the second class of rebels had handed over their equipment, U.S. Central Command (Centcom) admitted on Friday that the unit had handed over six pick-up trucks and a portion of their ammunition.


Seriously, has the 'training and arming rebels' EVER WORKED?


Someone please explain to me how training "70" fighters is somehow a 500 MILLION dollar program?!

Are you right wingers just incapable of using google to research something before posting? Or do you just fall for the knee-jerk headlines?

I'm thinking it's the latter rather than the former more and more as I read through RUI politics.

+ I didn't see a headline it was on the a.m. news ticker at the bottom of the screen at which point I googled it. And considering that every major news station has something about it, I would say it was pretty legit...
