So im brand new to rollitup and also this is my first grow, but you guys seem like you know your shit so heres my question.

Ive got 2 fems going (no strain info, got seeds from friend) looks like high quality bud, BUT I've been flowering for almost 6 weeks now and the buds still look between 1-2gs even the cola buds.

Been growing under an LED UFO the whole time good temp/humidity been using nutes with a ppm meter keeping it around 800ppm.

My only thought is that this is a 100% sativa strand and is going to push me into 10-11 weeks of flowering and they just havent put on much size so far. Any info would be great thanks guys.

ps. No pics cause of the LEDs they mess up my camera ill try my best over the next day or two to put in a bright light and snap some pics.

I'm not an expert on led's but I haven't heard anything good about them. You may want to switch to cfl's in the 2700k range since you're into flower.

If its showing buds I would not worrie. Use a good bloom nutrient and they should start to swel later in the flower period

are we talking within 3-4 weeks? since its my first run through im just iffy on the timelines of 100% sativas. ive heard they can go through 100 days of flowering before rippening but im sure thats an extreme. Also i DO have a 400w MH and HPS light that i will most likely use next time, for all the cool things UFOS bring to the table (no heat, only 80w, etc) I'd really like to see the difference hands on.

With the 400 hps you can get 6x the yield you will get from the ufo.

It wouldnt hurt, would help them swell in the last few weeks, but the hps will be MUCH hotter do you have exhaust?

unfortunately not and i watched the temp jump 10 degrees to 84 in about 20 minutes. any quick fixes until the weekend? possibly and air conditioner on an extension cord so i dont overload the circuit?

SO. all i can do is try to create an equilibrium between the light and an air conditioning unit, i can cycle out the stagnant air by myself but since its not at my house i cant do any cutting or run any ducting so how successful will this attempt be?

You can introduce Co2 into your growing area, it will allow the plants to withstand higher temps. The problem with an A/C is that the device itself is a heat source.

for your next grow save up some money. Go out and buy a 400 watt or 600 watt hps/mh grow light that is air cooled. For nutes fox farm big grow and tiger bloom and look up topping and suppercropping believe me you'll love the results. and I would go to attitude seeds and look for some good beans :)

thanks man you learn from mistakes next roudn should be all good

yeah thats what i told him but hes stubborn. would you suggest stickin with the 400w and adding a 200cfm exhaust fan or just pony up and get the 600w air cooled? trying to be frugal haha

Well im on my way to buy a 4in 150cfm exhaust fan with ducting and a backdraft odor control attachment, hopefully i'll be able to swell up my girls over the next couple weeks and salvage this harvest. Next grow should be perfect thanks guys for all your help.
