5 Gallon DWC vs. 1 Gallon Hempy SoG

So I just finished my first soil grow and did pretty well, at the same time I had a couple of mothers vegging in DWC. I have clones rooting and am ready to make the move to hydro but I am torn between doing 5 Gallon DWC SCROG (600gph of air per bucket) and doing a Hempy SOG.

The pro's of the SoG obviously would be harvesting every couple of weeks, but I am wondering if I can outweigh that by the yield I could get from 5 G DWC's.

My flower area is 2' x 5' x 4 1/2' My Veg area is the same size directly above the flowering chamber and contains my Aerocloner and one Mango Kush mother.

So I figure I could SoG 15-20 plants, harvesting 4-5 plants every 2 weeks, or I could SCROG in 5 Gallon DWC buckets and fill a 10 sq ft. screen with 3 buckets.

My previous grow was a scrog in soil and I feel like I did pretty well, and I have a pretty decent grasp of (vegging at least) in DWC, so I am looking for input from people that know more than I do! Would you rather do a 20 plant SoG or a 3 plant SCROG if you had my area and a 600w HPS. I guess it boils down to which way is going to have a higher yield capability, I want to say DWC because I have witnessed ridiculous growth of one of my mothers and figure I could get the same growth in flower.

Also the added work of maintaining a SoG would be much greater than the 5 g buckets...

i don't like flowering with hempy buckets. i saw that they gave bigger better yield with both DWC and ebb and flow. however i do love SOG in terms of yield. the only reason i quit doing SOG is because i don't need a constant bud supply anymore since i cut down tremendously on smoking, so i start from seed grow them and then quit growing for more than a year. however i achieved the full blown maximum efficiency SOG grow before with couple of 400w in flower and fluro tubes and cfl's for moms and clones. if you really want max yield and you will grow constantly, i suggest you do a tote which you can do both DWC in colder weather and flood/drain in hotter weather. then you can do SOG grows, non stop 12/12 flowering in flower room. you need great healthy moms to give you a big number of clones which need to root at high rates. i did bonsai moms and used to cut like 1.5-2x the needed number of clones like 2weeks after the previous clones started flowering 6-7weeks later they would have rooted well but not yet stretched much sice i keep em under fluros, i chose the best rooters and SOG them they day i harvest the flowering plants. it gave me a huge amount of buds which i couldnt really smoke by myself even if i tried hard lol thats when i decided i should take it easy lmao i got to the wake n'bake and was tired from always being fried. i currently smoke like 2g's all week lol i used to smoke like 3g's every day, all i need now is a grow every couple years
