5 Day Old Seedling

I am on my very first grow of Mazar X Great White Shark (Freebie)! I have 1 5 day old seedling (Pictures attached) under 2 26 watt 6500k CFL bulbs. I water it 1 time everyday with very little water, and mist it a few times a day. If you guys could give me feedback on how my seedling looks, and what else I should do i would greatly appreciate it! Thanks! Oh and also in the pictures the seed coat is still attached to the plant, it is not inhibiting the growth of the plant I dont think, but I have no idea why its still attached. So.... Thanks for any advise and suggestions!

There is no need to mist your seedlings multiple times a day, especially with water on top of the leaves. Imagine if you were a baby plant and you have a big ass reservoir of water amassed on top of your main point of growth. It's looking good, growing a little slow to be at 5 days after sprout. 5 days after planting that looks about right. Keep showing it love, but always remember to apply science and reason to your practices. I would also add 2 more bulbs within the next week to give it optimal lumens. Don't worry about the seed shell, the plant with naturally shed it given time. Hope this helps a little, and good luck man!!!

You should probably start with germinating it. There are multiple conflicting theories of germination (ex. Paper towel, cup of water, in soil, etc.) Its really up to you to decide on which you want to use. I used the paper towel method, you want to put the seed you plan on germinating in a warm and dark place, for max possibility of germination. Look up cannabis seed germination on google for more information.
