Whats up everyone,

This is my 2nd grow and really my first knowledgeable attempt to a real grow. I recently went through the whole grow process with a bagseed grow. The bagseed grow I used CFL's and this go round I'm going to use a 400watt MH/HPS setup. I got my blue mystic and jock horror seeds in yesterday (10/20/09) and planted the seeds in the rockwool today (10/21/09). The left row is the Blue mystic and the right row is Jock Horror. I decided to go with these 2 specifically so I could have a sativa and indica strand. I will be posting pictures very frequently to give a good understanding and depiction of how the grow is going.

I'm using a bubbleponic system with 3" netted pots.

Nutrients: I'm using the Fox Farm 2 part system, for i had HUGE results on my last grow.

My grow tent is currently split in 2 due to the fact that I have a mother plant I'm budding in the same tent. The demensions of the full tent are 3ft x 3ft x 5ft. tall. I decided to wrap the tent in emergency blanket instead of mylar.

Masking the smell: I am using an ionizer that i picked up from a local hydroponic store. It worked miracles in my last grow of 4 plants although I'm stepping up the amount of plants I think it will still hold its own.

Air Circulation: I have about 15 fans at my dispense ranging from small to huge, as you will notice through the process i usually change them out.

In these first few pics, I'll be starting them off of 2 4ft 6500k bulbs, as I'm still waiting on my HID setup to come in.

This is where it begins, and I'm thrilled. Hope you guys enjoy as this will be a hell of a ride.

RESPONSES ARE WELCOME, AS LONG AS YOU GUYS PLAY NICE.

Well yesterday, I finished harvesting the female I had in the same tent. I also added some glasses to 4 of the plants as a kind of experiment to see if raising the humidity on the seedlings will help any.

My day time temperature currently is 75.2F with 55% humidity. My night temp is 74F with 55% humidity. I checked all of my rockwool and I have 10 out of 10 sprouts. I was stoked to see this, as now my system will be completely filled.

I realize that the distance between the plants is really tight about a 3-4 inch gap in between them. I intended on using some LST to make up for this though. I figured I'd just pull them away from the system. If anyone has any suggestions on how I should do the LST please let me know as I've never done it before but I do understand the process.

I also added two more airstones to really make a jacuuzi of oxygen for the roots, brings me to a total of 4 airstones in this one setup.

Here's to 10/10 sprouts this grow is already beginning to look good. heres a few pics i took yesterday.

Checked on them this morning, BM1 and JH5 are both showing 4 sets of leaves(including baby leaves). BM2 is also showing baby leaves. I checked all the rest of the sprouts and kind of guided them out of the rockwool. I kinda broke a piece of BM3's rootsystem but I think it will be alright. I'll post pics later on today.

day 5 veg...thought for sure I had gotten a shot of all 10, but seems like i missed one. The noteable ones are the 1st 2nd and last picture, as they have the best results so far. My HID should be here within 4-5 days, I think these girls will be alright till then though under this light, I have some spiral cfl's in case of emergency though.

Heres day 6 of vegetation, looking alright with a little bit of stretching. I added some cfls to the program to help with the stretching.

Heres day 7 of veg growth....not exactly sure if BM 4 is going to pull it off but it has new and healthy looking green growth inside the baby leaves. This is the one I broke off a part of the root system. Anyways my light will be here tomorrow, it will stop the little stretching I have so far. Its a 400w MH with a HPS conversion bulb for flowering.

A few hours after I posted those pics today I recieved my MH/HPS lights and installed it a few minutes ago. Temperature climbed to about 75 degrees at night, I assume itll be around 77 during the day...I moved a few of the Dominant ones under direct light. I've also noticed that the best looking plant so far is BM1 but all of the other Blue mystics arent doing near as well as all 5 of the Jock horror. I also noticed that almost every single plant has rooted itself into the resevoir. This next week I should see huge improvements.

I intended on starting nutes on day 7, which is today, but since not all of the plants are exactly where I'd like them to be as far as growth I'll give them another few days.

Day 8

Check in on the girls today, they are all standing straight up now. I was going to take pictures but I was pressed for time and didn't feel like turning the light off to be able to take the pictures. All 5 of the JH are looking superb. I have 2 blue mystic that arent doing so well, but the other 3 are doing fine. BM1 is still leading the pack as far as growth.

I'll take some pictures tomorrow when I go back to the set up.

The HID seems to be working miracles for the girls. Hope the grow continues down this path.
