4x8 1000watt and 2 400 watt hps ebb and flow???

ok really only 2 2x4's and 4x4 tables with the 1000 centered and a 400 on both sides. they are inline with 3 chiller cooled ice boxes with 6in fan pushing on one end and another 6 pulling from the other end thru 3 iceboxes. this works great as air conditioning because where i live it is hot as fuck and in a drought. i also cool the reses with the water chiller pumping ice cold water thru a coil submerged in res. ok here is my question, there are 2 2x4 and 1 4x4 what size res can i get away with usinbg if i have 3 pump on a different set timer so only one gets filled at a time. will a 50 gal be ok? i have a 25 gal and a 50 gal i just dont want to buy another lid and 100 gal res. i kinda want only 1 res so would a 50 gal feed those trays full of ladies thruout bloom?

I have been using 4x4 trays for a few months. I have 2 ways of doing it.
First, each tray sits on top of it's own 40 gallon res. Simple.
Second, 2 4x4 trays and 1 55 gallon drum. The trays are elevated about 12-14 inches. There is a feed pump in the drum with 1/2 hose leaving the drum and moving toward the center of the 2 trays. I split the 1/2 so each tray is getting filled with the same res at the same time. A small hole drilled in each tray 1 1/2 inches from the top , each with a float attached, for safety.To drain, use the drain plug. Run 1 inch tubing out of the drain holes to a 400 gph pump. 1 pump per tray. Set a timer to kick the drain pump on 15 min after you start to feed. Only 1 50-60 gallon res this way, and 40 gallons of nutrient solution will feed both trays, but don't let it get much lower than that. Just finished the 1st cycle using this method and not a drop of water spilled
