4th Official Party Cup Grow off Update Thread

This is the official update thread for the 4th party cup grow-off. Contestants must provide a photo-update every weekend from here on out, or they're out.

The rules are simple:
1}MUST be in a 16oz plastic party cup,
2}MUST be started and finished under the same light source,
3}MUST have your seeds germinating no later than Feb. 28,
4}MUST post update weekly.
5}No Veg time, straight flowering

Write on the cup the following:


Strain name
Date germed
Date seeds pop out of cup


In your first post, give a few details about your strain, medium, nutrients, lights, any training, etc...


Competition ends when all contestants have harvested. Any questions let me know. Let the games begin! Good Luck and Have fun!​

I don't think veg time is allowed, even though its not stated in the rules.

If its in a party cup, and your on flowering time not a problem, more the merrier.

Or can we start whenever...and if there's an update, we just state we havent started germinating yet?

I wasn't going to start until Feb. but if people want to start now that's cool too, just remember to post your updates. The registration cut off will still be the end of Jan, and germ by end of Feb.

I have cfls I want to use for seed starting, can I hold off my led unit for the first week? Rules state you want us using the same light sources from start to finish.

My Seed Options: GGG outdoor open polination beans, Mandala's Purple Paro Valley(fem), Reserve Privada Kosher Kush(fem), and 2 (reg) bay-11 seeds from GDP.

I thought we only have to post once a week when we pop our beans. Anyway I need it wait some since I got no area with 12/12 yet since I switch that to 24/0 so I can get some better roots after transplanting and moving everything into that space. But I guess we have all of February to decide what beans to pop.

Lol.........everyone is so jumpy already half the growers are gonna be out the first month like always. Gonna miss Fran Jan's updates, they where epic! Now I need a shit talking competitor, hmmmmmm maybe Dawg's autos are a place to start.......I mean can he have two successful hydro cups in a row?.....don't think so.lol

We all know that Hyroot is too busy starring at his induction bulbs to see if their dimming from the fans.......amateur

^^^^ hey now you stare at your induction too... I stare mostly at the a51. its not being used and I want to use it... I will have a shit load of garden work in less than 2 weeks. chop n trim, transplants, clones, teas, etc.... I will probably start seeds after that. If we have the whole month of feb to germ. I may pick up seeds when I go to the L.A. cup just for the party cup comp. Whats the most colorful and frosty tga strain..hmmm chernobyl, space bomb or ace of spades or the new 9lb. hammer maybe.....
