So I started with 1 Mother Purple Kush Plant And One Mother Purple Indica Plant. Before They Went Into Bud I took 5 Clones Off Each, how ever only 4 purple kush turned out ( not bad for clones 9/10). :hump:

They are all currently 2 weeks 5 days old mostly strong but some are stunted. do they heal quickly and get back to growing ( i had to transplant them thats why they were stunted.

Im Using a 600Watt MH and have 2 fans in the closet 1 in the room. I plan to use a HPS for Flower. But my plan is to grow these 9, take 1 of each strain out and get as many clones as i can so i have a decent size crop by november. i plant to put the remaining 7 older clones under 4' CFL tubes while the clones will be under the MH ( of course not till they've rooted from cloning). Then when there all around the same size i will put them into the flowering phase. im shooting for 20 plants, 10 Purple Kush 10 Purple Indica ... no more then 25 plants as i only have one light. also the two mothers ill be using will be thrown into bud if there worth it.:joint:

comments & suggestions welcome

I am gunna have 1000w HPS on 20 plants for flower, and expect 4-8 oz's off each after 6-7 months from cutting/seed! that and using a 400w MH, and six to ten CFL's to veg, and tube fluoros for seedlings + Clones. Thats two to four pounds every two weeks, maybe more if I can cram more Huge plants in the room than that. I am going to try and max out my indoor area... just broke as hell and don't have the cash for what I need for it to finish the set up right now... I will also be using a decent amount of FF nutes, I don't know what you use, that and alaskan fish fert, thrive alive, super thrive, earth juice catalyst... and high ph water... lol... but I have seen really good yields come from these nutes (just maybe not done the same way that I do it...). Get some pics, I would love to see it. Peace

you might want to fix your area by makeint the light hoizontal so the light gets the babys aswell, get a reflective surface like mylar or space blanket with i just realize that my local target has them and im pickin some up.the indica looks great, beautiful leaces

loadedragon - im shootin for 2 ounces per plant, im using General Hydroponics 3 part system ( micro gro and bloom ) im using miracle grow soil with perlite tap water with a ph meter .. i used 2 - 4 foot cfls for when these gals were clones up until they were a week old then i switched to a 600watt MH and they jumped up 5 inches .. when they get to bud im gonna use a 4 or 600 watt HPS which ever i can get my hands on. but before the current plants go into bud im gonna take two to clone and get me more gals for a bigger harvest. so in around 3 weeks from now i plan to clone and the clones will go under the MH while the older gals go under CFLs ... so that the younger ones have time to catch up in growth .. you feel me.

Wackymack - the picture with the babies is an old picture. its what my first post pics looked like before they got big.

there currently 3 weeks as of tomorow ... ill have them in VEG till 1 of each are ready to clone off of .... then when the clones are rooted ill put them under the MH and the ones under the MH will go under the flourescents. the clones will probably be under the MH for 2 weeks before i put them all back together again.

ya i think its a decent possibility. they should all be in the veg cycle for around 2 months ... then another 2 months no more for the flower cycle.

I added a few things to my grow :

- clear poly on the floor/ carpet
- Lamp Shade ( More Light Directed To Plants )
- Switched Fans Around For Better Air Flow

some outside suggestions would be greatly appreciated keeping in mind this is a minimal indoor grow. does the setup look alright to everyone ?

oh yeah, 2 weeks from now i plan to have double the amount of plants i currently have ( atleast that ) 25 would be nice. oh and i also got a 600 watt MH .... but i needed to know from some Guru if i can use it with my current ballast. Current Ballast = im not sure ... but its got a 600watt HPS screwed into her .... i was told from the previous owner that its switchable from 110 to 220 volt ... mattter uh fact im gonna go take a pic of what was written down on it.

k so i think i got confused when i was told about my setup. but i think the ballast might be for a MH .... does it really make a difference at all ? heres the pic .

if its a switchable ballast then u have no worrys, veggg them till like 2ft then flower, you got the room so put it to good urse

i dont know if its a switchable ballast .... thats why im asking the Guru's of RollItUp ..... i plan to veg the current plants till they hit close to 2 feet but i need to clone so the next 10 babies i get wont be nearly as big as the first 9 girls, you feel me. so how do i find out if this is a switchable ballast .... and if its not a switchable ballast can i still use a HPS ? i have more questions with pictures to come as soon as someone can give me a positive answer on whether or not i can use my ballast for HPS .... people please help

its working so i wouldnt worry,it prob is a switch or hps ballast bc you need a compacitor to ignite the hps bulb witch a straight up mh ballast doesnt have. so theres your sign lol

The first picture is of my purple kush plant. shes 3 weeks 1 day old. i havent spotted and bugs or flies and i constantly have the fans going ( except bedtime ). it looks as if the tip of the leaf is getting crusty and is when you gently feel it.

Next picture, same deal. PK 3w1d old. tip of leaf is crusting. its only like this on 1 or 2 leaves tho.

third one is Purple indica. im just curious why the tips of the leaves are curling downward. when i touch the leaves i can pop the middle of the leaf so that its curling upward. its weird.

The next Two pics after that are of a P.I plant and i wanted to know why the lower leaf looks better then the upper leaf. the lower leaf is small and the upper one is rediculously big.

The last pic isnt a problem I just wanted to show my tallest plant standing a 8" inches @ 3 weeks 1 day old. im stoked its gonna be huge.

please gurus help me and let me know if any or all of these are problems and how i can solve them. i havent started feeding nutes yet i guess i should within the week. im using General Hydroponics 3 part system. Micro-Grow-Bloom. Tap Water. The light is a few inches over a foot above the plants. and the fan is 6 inches away directed to the plants.

oh yeah. dumb question .... just because im such a pot head .... MH is for Vegging - HPS is for budding, correct ?
