Its basically synthetic shrooms, well, a synthetic analogue of psilocybin. It is converted into Psilocin in your body, same as psilocybin.

That isn't exactly right, but close....

True... they both turn into psilocin, but psilocybin is the phosphate ester of psilocin. Where as 4-aco-dmt is the acetylated form of psilocin. Psilocybin is rapidly dephosphorylated in the body into psilocin and 4-aco-dmt is deacetylated into psilocin.
