400watt HPS soil grow

I want to start a 400 watt HPS soil grow. How many plants would I be able to grow in a closet, yielding how much?

well how big is the closet and yeild depends on a number of factors ..... strain, food, temp, and other unpredicatble things.

Whats the best indoor strain for a first time indoor/soil 400watthps and what company is the most trustworthy to send to U.S.?

Pretty much any Indica dominant strain would be OK. Of course there are a few exceptions. But they usually grow pretty short.

Have you bought the light yet? If not make sure you get a ballast that is convertible from HPS to MH. That is what I use. And I use the MH for Veg and the HPS and MH for flower. Three days of HPS 1 day of MH.

Easy buds to grow would be either Big Bud or PPP (Pure Power Plant). Both of the strains should be good for a begginer and both have a high yield.

Trustworthy seedbanks would include Nirvana, The Attitude Seedbank and WorldWideMarijuanaSeeds.

I am growing 4 plants in 5 gallon buckets and 1 still in a 16 ounce cup and on top on 1 gallon of soil and 2 babies in 16 ounce cups all under my 400 watter. Like the guy above me, I too veg with MH and flower with HPS.
