400w light help... please

I have an 400watt hps set up.. I want to use this 400w ge r400 multi-vapor mh bulb. It came on ran good for 5 min. I cut it off to ask you guys was it safe to run in my tent???

What is your concern? Heat or some such?

Or are you concerned about whether the ballast and such are appropriate (yes).

A MH bulb can grow great buds. Beware making statements about whether it
is better or worse than HPS. Them there's fightin' words, around here. :0)

ballast was the question or should i say concern.... Im only using for vegging.... lol Thanks for the fast response..

Well, wait for confirmation from someone more experienced, but expect good news.

I have both types of bulbs and have swapped them out, going from Veg to Flower.
