400W HPS Pineapple Express +3 other strains

So I just got my seeds in today from Attitude. Not too bad ten days to make it here 12 total days from order. This grow I plan on doing 2 G13 Pineapple Express Seeds plus Kandy Kush, the always classic White Widow, and the last I havent decided on. Im thinking either Dutch Passions skunk #11 or Meekong High from Dutch Passion as well. So anyone thats grown or smoked either of those feel free to let me know what your opinion is. All comments and suggestions are more than welcome. I like to be a sponge that absorbs as much info as I can. Heres a little set up list of what Ill be using

Lighting
for Veg- 250W HPS
for Flowering-400W HPS plus 23W CFL bulbs (2)
Soil and Nutes
FoxFarm Ocean Forrest Soil
Foxfarms Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Beastie Bloomz
Other Shit
1 mil mylar that I plan on changing to 2 mil for durability reasons
2 mechanical timers
5 ft homemade grow box bottom foot and a half for clones and seedlings under a T5 fixture when I install it. The Rest of the box is for Vegging, wrapped in black white poly paper.
2 thermometers
1 clip fan
1 box fan and hopefully soon a couple more clip fans.
5 homemade CO2 generators which I plan to change to the bag co2 I've seen.

I will be posting pictures tomorrow since Im wicked baked now and dont feel like dealing with all that shit right now.
I've have named pretty much everything I have that I can think of right now atleast so if you see something missing please let me know Happy Growing all :blsmoke:

This shelf is 16 in tall and will be where I do my clones and Seedlings under T5 lighting ballast I will have soon hopefully

And here is the box once we wrapped it in Black/white Poly and mylar on the shelf for the vegging process, The upper part is about 38" and will have a 250W hanging in there.

Word let me know if you start a journal I always like subbing up with people that start around when I do..

I did start germination today though I am doing 2 Pineapple Express, 1 White Widow, 1 Kandy Kush, and 1 Bing Band which I never heard of they sent it with my shipment so I am going to see what that one is all about

What germ method do you use? i've tried soil & the napkin technique. Napkin technique seems to work better for me as i can fully control the temp and thats what seems to make my seeds pop. If you read my journal it's explained there. And i only rotted 1 seed with the napkin technique and most the seeds i put it decided to pop, unlike my soil attempt.. my soil attempt i germed 9 seeds, only 3 seeds actually sprouted and only 2 of those 3 seeds are still alive.. (skinny bit the dust bc my talons are too long lol)

I just use the paper towel and sandwich bag method I keep it in my grow room so it stays pretty warm. I've never lost any plants using that method although I;ve only germed like 15 ever but not bad 10 for 10 so far. Then what I do is put them in party cups that I melted holes on the bottom for drainage best and easiest way to get drainage for your cups Ill post a picture of them in a little bit
 
Is having those holes at the bottom necessary if you are stingy with the water? i was gonna wait till i put them in reg size party cups cuz the cups i have are pretty small and i only intended to use these small cups to save space for a lil while.
 
Yea you definitely want drainage holes for the excess water, the best way to water is to lift up the cup when it feels light give it some water feel it right after a watering and once you've done it for a while you'll just get to know when you need to water. When they are little you only need a little bit of water of course, right now my plants get about 1/3 gallon every two days since they are in flowering they are sucking up the water quick, I lift the pot to make sure when its light i dump more water
 
Thanks for the tips, Seems i have much more to learn. MY biggest plant doesnt seem to be doing much of anything aside from another set of leafs are forming.
 
everything looks great!

I too, took advantage of the dutch passion deal and have the mekong, skunk, white widow, blueberry and something else to choose from. I'd say mekong because it sounds dope ;P
 
Yea dont worry It just takes some patience It took me about 40 some odd days of vegging to get to 12 inches tall then a week after i started flowering my crystal plants they were all close to two feet tall

Oh shit. If my plants get that big id jizz all over the place, Then have to figure out what ima do with the plants. my light house isnt that big and i need to be stealth!

How tall is the box exactly? they say usally plants will normally double to triple in size when you go into flowering so if you only want them to be a foot or two tall I would say 12/12 once they get to about 7" you can also try LSTing which is low stress training, lets the plants grow more short and bushy. I subbed up on your grow so Ill definitely be checking out good luck with it all l=Im no expert but if you need help with anything let me know Ill do what I can... grown on brosef :blsmoke:
 
Yeah i dont let my plants have more then 12 hours. i was just trying to get some more leafs growing and hoping to see a stronger looking stem. Guess i gotta realise it is still pretty early. My plants are about 2 er 2 & a half weeks old. (maybe cuz i dont remember the exact date, but i do have some of the earlier photos i took and one is dated dec 11)
 
So none of my seeds really gave me a strong sprout like Im used too left them in the paper towel for about 96 hrs. Just transferred them Christmas day into the veg box. I put them in the Party cups with the drain holes I made and FF Ocean Forrest Soil also put a little Root Drench some new Nutes by FF called BushDoctor Right now its under two cfl 23w bulbs once they break soil Ill turn on the 250W Hps. :blsmoke:
