400w HPS Day 30 Flowering, Any advise?

Lookin real good for one month of flower. Actually, very well done.
So you vegged under a 1000watt, and then flowered under a 400watt?
If so, never start with a higher lumen output light, and finish with lower.
Kinda like showin them this wonderful environment and then cutting back the light more than a half.
If you veg with 400wt Mh then flower with 1000wtHps, you'd have a much bigger harvest.

I've got a 400w HPS and a 400w MH for the rest of my indoor garden, they share the room but the MH has a shield on it to keep the light concentrated on my veggies the HPS is unshielded and directly over my girls. If I can get my hands on a 1000w hps for the next grow I'll try that.

Yeah- getting only 400w after vegging in 1000w is not a good idea-- IMO- you are better off next grow switching out your 1000w for some T5's or CFL's so that when you switch the girls to the 400w they are getting a sudden increase in light intensity.

I've got my setup in the back corner of my garage which stays cool all day and I've got a 4" inline fan bringing cold air in the bottom, a 9" super volume straight fan forcing that cold air up in the ceiling and a oscilating fan moving air around the room. Temp stays around 26deg in the day and 13deg at night. Could I Veg and flower them under the 400w MH/400w HPS combo? Thus eliminating the need for the 1000w MH, it's big and gets really hot.
