~~400w club~~

this is my first grow
im still setting up my closet
its 4'x2' an 5 ft from the light to the ground
dont know wat size pots to goe with ?
i know im using soil thoe forsuree
need any advice.. lets talk

5 gallon pots is ur best bet perfect for ample growth!

I have a similar setup but I'm using 2.5 gal pots.. Perfect for 2-3' plants..

yea i was thinking rather between 18/ 2 gallon pots or 8/ 5 gallon pots and put 3 clones in each pot and scrog to maximize my yield i wana use up every inch of space i have

will three clones do good in a 5 gallon an still reach 5 ft tall..? well 4 ft from pot to light

The bigger the pot the better, but theyll still become big monsters in smaller pots if you let them. I have a 400w grow with 7 plants (link in signature) and am using smaller pots than 5 gal (not enough room).

guy's was forced to get a tent due to smell. Would like to switch from 192w T5 to 400w cool tube. The tent is 3x3x6 would a 4 inch inline fan with a carbon filter keep it cool enough with the cool tube?

Hell yeah. I just keep a fan blowing on mine and my temps are nice, a cool tube would eliminate almost all heat besides the ballast and it doesn't get too hot. Do you have an outtake?

You guys have a shitload of plants, I couldn't imagine 18 plants under my 400w. I only got my ex-mother under it now shes a jungle though 6 feet If I didn't bend her completely on her side, I'll probably put 4 under it in 5gals my next go around LST'd under 2ft.

I'm prob never going to have more than 2 plants. But money is not any object, if my current run doesn't get me a zip and a half off each I'll go 400w cool tube. It actually would take up a bunch less room in the tent than my 2x2 8 bulb T5.
