Just finished tearing off my hood and turning my space into a vert grow.
Currently running a 400 watt hps vertically in the center of grow area.

Stats: 3 girls all clones of my previous run which was horizontal.
2 are 2 weeks into veg and doing great.
The 3rd was taken a few days after the first 2 and she took longer to root, but she's starting to get some new growth now.

I'm using pro-mix all purpose mix and I can't remember the mutes off the top of my head.

I've got them about 3-6 inches from the bare bulb. Also a box fan circulating air. Temps stay around 80-84f. This strain seems to love the heat, but I am working on better venting to drop temps.

I'm hoping to get input and good info and tips on vert.

Pics will be up tomorrow. Thanks for stopping in.

Your temps are fine in soil. I run my 4 girls in the 80-85 range. Just make sure to put a good mulch on top of the soil so you dont lose container space to water evap. Or even better plant some micro clover for some living mulch action.

80-85 at the plant is definitely NOT ok.. Good way to get yourself loose nugs, green hay smell, fewer trichs. Unless you're running co2.
