400 watt HPS messed up my electricity??

I have a 400 watt hps light running constantly. Today I went in my basement and it was off. Everything was off. The breaker wasn't tripped and resetting it doesn't help. The fan in my grow room was still running, so I know there's still power, it's just weak. Also I can turn on some lights but they are very dim. I unplugged everything and still nothing?? I can't have somebody come out with out having to completely dissassemble my operation.. Can somebody please help me soon?? My babies are in the dark! What are the possibilities here? Should I call the power company? What the hell should I say that I'm running that takes up so much power??

your main breaker probably is off on one side or breaker is bad. turn main off then back on.

maybe a brown out. happened to me last year. it's basically the same thing as a black out except thier is still a little power flowing. it took about 10 hrs for the power company to fix it.

I believe your right. I just got home and everythings fine now. I thought forsure it was related because i've tripped the breaker many times with my lights on 24-0(i can't even use a timer because the time always gets fucked up) and i'm not sure how to solve the problem.

sounds of an electrical problem. If your not good at troubleshooting, i'd seriously have someone check out your wiring.

if you are having that many problems with a 400w ballast you definitely have some electrical issues. You have way too much stuff running on one breaker or something. You should run a designated breaker for your grow stuff.
