How's it going growers, Ive stepped up my lighting to 400 Watt HID, Lumatek Digital HPS/MH Auto-Detect, currently using 400W MH for Veggin my White Widow Mother and two "accidental" clones and they are THRIVING!!! I gotta say the difference in growth between the 230ish watts of CFL and shop lighting vrs this 400 Watt MH monster (comparatively) is, pun intended, night and day, lol. This WW mother is growing so fast I might have to step it down to 250W because I'm running out of vertical room, I mean I can go higher but I'd have to pull out the top shelf and mount my light pullies to the ceiling or something?? Anyways, I will start cloning in the next few day to week, I heard that you should flush most nutes before you clone as high nute levels will cause slower rooting, is this true??? OK here's what I got: HTG Reflector 6" Air Cooled, 400 Watt Lumatek Digital ballast W/Super Lumens switch (hydro shop employee told me that using the Super Lumens mode will produce a different spectrum, can someone shed some light on this please????) MH/HPS Auto-Detect, currently using 400W MH & 68W CFL for cloning & vegging my White Widow mother (Isn't she BEAUTIFUL!), For flowering I'll switch to 400W HPS and possibly some 2700K CFL's or if I have the money I'll build an LED panel with high power 5W LED's (Yea baby!!) after I veg my clones under the MH. Still some work to do, vent holes to cut, ducting to run w/inline fans, carbon filter etc. I'll post more pics once I get everything up and running correctly, still half-assing it, however my White Widow mother and my two clones look VERY healthy so that's a good start. I'll update this as things progress and I'm really eager to get the ball rolling. I have other stuff and deals are being made on Craigslist so I'm pretty close to having most everything I need, got to get ready for work so I'll post more later, have LOTS OF ?????'S so anyone with experience growing in a closet with 400W HID shoot me a note post you thoughts here. Thanks everyone and keep em green.
