40 days with an Auto Flower

Hi,

I'm 40 days from planting (soil) my Blue Mystic Auto Flower. She seems to be doing well. I have noticed she is starting to pre-flower... When do I switch to my red lights and my bloom solution? I'm still using the veg food (as of last night) and my lights are 4*23cfl's (blue). I have 2*60w cfl's (red) I can go to. Actually I have 4* 60w cfl's I can go to but I think using all four might make my grow box(4.26sqft) to hot.

Whats the actual watt's on the CFL's ? they say they are 60w or 100w equivalent but in reality they are using less actual watts ...... just going by the size and days into the grow looks like you need more light and if temps are a issue then you need to step up your ventilation ..... but to answer your question .... seedling (3 weeks roughly) preflower/veg (1-3 weeks strain and environment dependent) flower ( 4 weeks- ?? ) i usually slowly start bloom nutes when vertical stretch has stopped and the buds begin stacking up that would probably be the time to change the lights IMO

Thanks for the reply! I honestly thought that it was what it stated. 23 w cfl's (blue) and the 4 *60w bulbs i bought say 60 w 32000k on the box. I switched over to the 2* 60w and one 23w cfl. After more reading it's definitely more than just pre-flower. I watered on Friday so my next time water/feeding will be on Monday or Tuesday. My thought was to switch to a 1.25 ml. bloom feeding solution. They call for 5ml at this stage. This is only my second grow... the first was a male.
