My 4x8 tent and light kit arrived today so I'm starting a new journal for the grow. I aim to be up and running in about 2 weeks. After cramming 15+ plants and a similar system in a 4x4 tent I'm revising my method to better suit.

After searching high and low for square PVC tubing (no option but to import from O/S) I will settle for 6" round PVC pipe and 3" net pots. Each net pot will have one EZ clone sprayer below, pointing directly up. I'll run an inline filter so clogging shouldn't be an issue.

I plan to veg for one month under 2x 600W MH conversion bulbs supplied in kit. I will more than likely build a screen in the later half of veg, still deciding whether to SCROG or top a few times to get multiple main colas from each plant. My current thoughts are leaning towards the latter.

Ventilation will be a 12 inch duct fan with 10 inch duct to 10 inch carbon filter. The tent is in the garage which can get quite hot.The tent has 4x openings around the bottom with covers but unfortunately these do not have Velcro, I want to source air from another room so I will have to sew these shut before I continue.

Here's some teaser pics, will update with progress!

Things are going a little slower than anticipated, not to worry though as once things are up and running I should be producing a harvest every 2 months. After a little further thought and planning I will now run an 18/6 veg cycle in a 4x4 tent next to the 4x8.

The strain is called Critical Kush

Close up of drainage, used what I had & works flawlessly. 50L res below to be changed weekly.

I topped most of the plants straight out of the aerocloner

Ideally the 4x8 tent will have 18x plants with 4 or so big colas each

Cheers man! So after a month of veg I should be able to lift the net pots from the veg tent into the flower tent. After this time the roots will have developed nicely, I'm thinking maybe a simple flood and drain during flowering is the way to go

The plants are now 4 weeks old. I would have preferred to complete veg under SCROG screen after about 2-3 weeks but had to take down the 4x8 tent for a rental inspection.

I spent a good few hours constructing the 18 site system. The junction fittings purchased made for a bit of a tighter fit than anticipated but got it within the tent dimensions after a bit of manipulation. Watering method is flood & drain.

I built the screen with some wire and conduit I had laying around, the stems were not very flexible which resulted in a lot of branches bending and some snapping completely. I fixed what I could with some tape and I am allowing an extra week of veg now to allow some recovery before flowering.

This last week the plants have taken a turn for the worst, not sure if its due to toxicity or deficiency? Since placing in the Flood & drain the leaves have looked ever so droopy. I have not had much luck with flood & drain in the past, it always produces a similar result. I only water 3 times during the light, but the roots never completely dry. I also have an air pump in my res, and i see other people running similar system in a nft setup so not sure why the new growth look over watered always.

I am using tap water with low PPM

and the EC is now 0.8 after 5 weeks. lowering or raising doesn't seem to help the issue. new growth keeps looking shit and droopy.

added some calmag a week ago which hasn't seemed to help.

might scrap this grow it's really bringing me down... had a great start spent a month growing them up and now since changing watering method they have turned to shit.

I would appreciate any ideas regarding what could be the issue, thank you
