4 x 42w or 9 x26w Which setup would produces less heat?

I have a small cab that needs lights. Which of those two setups might keep temps under control better?

My cab is only about 17" wide and 3' tall. Are there any pl-l's that might work?

First scenario is 168w, second 234w. Obviously the second will produce more heat.

I don't have a clue what a "pl-l" is.

the 26w are suppose to put out less heat, and if that is true, then the opposite of what you say is true . The 234w should be cooler.

I have 2x42w an 6x23w in a 10in deep x 22in wide x 3 feet tall, if you have good ventilation you will be good with either one or a hybrid of both! CFL's are easily cooled you can do something as simple as opening a window In the room you have it in!
