4 Weeks Into Flowering

I planted one seed in July and it took off outside. Now it's about 2 feet tall with flowers/buds about 1 inch long in about 10 different stems. I live in Vancouver, Canada and the high temp at this time of the year here is about 64F and lows around 50F. I have a spot that gets sun but not full sun all day. I'd say it's getting at least 4 hours of direct sun. This is from one seed I found in my bag. No idea what type it is. It's my first grow.

My questions is: A)It's getting cold outside and I don;t want to cover it and bring attention from the neighbors, having a plastic bag over it. B) The plant is about 2 feel tall and the buds are about 1 inch long with lots of hairs but no crystals yet. How long should I leave it out before cutting it? I predict we should get our first frost around Halloween. Please give me some feedback. I've read a lot here but no one has a small plant like mine from what I've seen here. Thanks!

big plants small plants dynamics are the same..on the night of first frost cover the plants...try an take the plant into mid november befor harvesting..peace gb1

Thanks gb1. It's been flowering for about 3 or 4 weeks. If it continues to grow like it has (I started in July and it's roughly 2 feet tall now), how big will it get and how much will it yield(quantity) before mid November??? Thanks for the help. I'm so new to this, I'm lost...

Understood. I was a little dissapointed that I only got 10 -14 branches with buds growing. They look small at the moment and I'm beginning to wonder if it wa worth the trouble. I guess I lucked out since it's only one plant and it's female. I hope I can get at least 1 Oz. The plant looks super healthy but short. Can you tell I'm anxious? Thanks again.

yeah man... im on my first grow too... im beyond excited... the plant ive harvested already smells like.... amazingness.. heres a pic from almost 2 weeks ago. i cut it down yesterday

Nice pic. Mine is a bit smaller and probably a younger plant but looks the same type as yours. What type is it? Sativa? What month did you start growing outside?

How old is the plant in the picture? Looks like the hairs are turning orange..
