4-Acetoxy-DET

I have taken 4-Acetoxy-DET at 20mg, 30mg and 65mg. In my opinion it wasn’t worthwhile and definitely not like psilocybin as been reported. Has anyone here experimented with this compound? What do you think?

Although it could be you recieved an alltogether different rc. I've heard of vendors doing that recently......

Indeed!

Never trust a vendor... if the experience was different then a majority of trip reports on 4-acetoxy-DET... then you might of got a total different RC altogether!

I'll be the echoing voice, how was the trip like?
 
Not much visual distortion, music sounded incredible, textures had increased depth and colours had increased intensity. Had slight tracers/residual images. I found it closer to LSD where I don’t get much visuals, its all about the mental change. Psilocybin is the only psychedelic where I get much real visual distortion and I was hoping 4-Acetoxy-DET would be the same as it has been compared with it. I haven’t taken pure psilocybin, just mushrooms; I don’t know if there is a difference. I can’t say about the vendor’s reliability, its was the first compound I have ordered from them. They only started selling 4-Acetoxy-DET and 4-Acetoxy-MET at Christmas.
 
The experience itself sounds good enough...but what I think you were going for is a totally visual substance, correct?

I read that 4-acetoxy-DET is up their with mushrooms...as far as the mimicing of psilocybin/ psilocin goes! Word of advice, never take such a heroic dose of 60mgs, it could lead to very bad things. It sounds like a trip reminiscent of the chemical 4-acetoxy-dipt...which has hardly any visuals, but more of a body high that feels somewhat like ecstasy...but altogether feels different!

How did you come about learning about these research chemicals... or more properly put, what drives you to test these wonder chemicals ;)

I have always been interested in tripping since I was 12 and my Dad introduced me to cannabis. He used to tell me stories of taking microdots and mushrooms in the 70’s and it sounded amazing. I was always looking for LSD but none was ever around. I taught myself how to find liberty cap mushrooms and finally had my first trip around 15. I first started finding out about the more unknown psychedelics when I read PIHKAL and TIHKAL at 16. At the time I thought these compounds would always be out my reach and never expected to try any of the drugs in it except LSD and mushrooms. When I eventually found LSD I forgot all about the magical sounding compounds in Shulgin’s masterpieces. That was until a few years ago when going to a dance festival someone gave me “good ecstasy” (at the time all we could get was BZP shit.) When It hit in I knew it wasn’t MDMA or MDA because I had a lot of experience with these previously. It was incredible. I started researching and found out it was 2cb and then discovered the world of these chemicals again. The drive I have to take these chemicals is the joy of doing something I used to dream about doing but thought impossible. Sorry if this is a long post but it was such a difficult question to answer I could write a lot more lol.

This was the sort of answer I was looking forward to ;)

My desire is in the new chemicals of tomorrow! The psyche is endless!
