I'm trying to get people's opinions on what I should do with my situation. I am currently running 2x1000w in air cooled hoods and 2x600w in open 4'x4' hoods. My AC is running a little bit more than I like the but my room is staying between 83.5-88.5°. When the temp gets to 88.5 my controller kicks my co2 off and AC on (12k BTU dual hose portable) and takes about 25 mins to get down to 83.5 and gets to 88.5 in about 15 mins. I'm thinking about trading my 2 brand new 1000w digital ballast for 3x600w ballast for a total of 3kw. Then air cooled the 5x600w lights? Think this would help the heat better than just air cooling the 2 x600w I have now and keeping the 1000 watters. So I guess the actual question is what are some personal experiences on 3x600w vs 2x1000w both in air cooled hoods? Is there a heat difference? I'm sorry if this is confusing, its 7 am and I just got out of work and I am very stoned writing this in my phone. Thanks for all your help
