3rd time growing. Some leaves are curling down.

I have a 150HPS and 4 - 33watt daylight cfls. 2 plants in one of those walmart closet things.

Recently I've realized some leaves are curliing downward. I haven't used any nutes yet, only water.

Do you think it could be the cfl's, since they are a little lower than plant height.

how close are you're lights? also young plants don't need intense light right off the bat, you have to remember that seedlings sprout at the start of spring when its still chilly and get less intense heat and light. I grow only using CFL's and they are great for vegging and starting out some seedlings but arnt the best for flowering unless you have a lot of them and of the right spectrum. and definitely don't give it nutes yet! you want to wait untill its not in seedling stage and in veg stage so give it a good 2-3 weeks after its sprouted till you decide to give it some nutes and when you do feed it start out with small amounts because fixing a burn is much harder to deal with then a deficiency good luck happy growing!
