Sup dudes and dudets,

I'm starting a grow in a home-made grow box. It's 4'x2'x2', but my light and my pot will leave me with about 3' of room for my plant to grow. I'm not tryin' to get a bigger grow box or anything, so for this situation, how should I grow my plant with these height constraints? Light cycles, veg/bud cycles, etc.. Thanks in advance everyone.

Research SCROG (SCReen Of Green) and LST (Low Stress Training), or look through grow journals that mention those terms. To put it simply, the plant wants to grow tall and you need to train it to spread out relatively flat under your lights. You can see the strings for LST in the photo posted above.

Take your vertically inclined plant and make it horizontal, until flower. if you research what cheechako suggested, you will find out the inadvertent benefits to your situation.

If you arent going to LST, you most likely need to flip to 12/12 almost immediately. Especially if it has sativa in it.

3 feet isnt very tall at all considering you have about 1 foot at the bottom that is potter and 1 foot at the top where your lights are, so basically you have 1 foot of grow space.

Supercropping, works great for height restraining issues.
I do it up till 2-3 week of flower,Then stop.Tht plant IMO
has alot of Sativa, with those alternating branches.

Awesome, thanks for all the advice guys. I'll start researching those techniques. That said, if anyone already knows of any helpful links to tutorials or videos, please get at me!
