lighting changes according to temps.
min and max
10,000 lm to 52,000 lm
room temp lights on or off
76-83
light is on according to temp but between 18 to 24 hrs

nutes are FF trio in 5 gal soil
feed till ph is low then water to bring it back up
switch from grow big to tiger about a week age
only R.O. water without calcium supplements
ph runoff is between 6.2 to 6.5
no ppm meter

It looks good. Everything, about the set up seems great. I can't wait to see what those buds look like. Especially since it is
LST'd and prunned. Keep up the good work only 4 or 5 more weeks to go. When did it preflower?

Hey I am trying my hand at auto's and was wondering why you decided to top them. Everything I have read has said Not to top them because they will not have time to recovery and yield will be cut. I am not saying you are wrong for doing it I am just curious as to your reasoning.

Yeah it definatly looks not so good because you topped it. I've never tried topping a auto plant and really havent thought about it till now. But now i know its not such a good idea, i just dont think it had time to come back. I have 11 auto's right now, growing beautiful, did not top them. Then i have a regular NYPD plant that i did top and it turned out really well, is working on its forth top right now. Check out mine on my profile, my grow journal this year is called: My 17 Plant Grow 2012!!! Mostly Auto-Flowering. To me it looks like your going to get some stick buds but hey it could turn out anyway, looks good other then that. Happy growing and good luck

I didn't top them, I lost a few tops before I fixed a larvae infestation that was throwing off my nutes. I did trim fan leaves, and I trimmed my main cola from leaves.

looks like theyve had a hard life, u shouldnt trim fan leaves off the main cola. shame about the larvae infestation tho. i hope they give u some nice bud though

Okay i see. Well it looks good then. Its still alive and thriving and budding so good job with the infestation. You did what you had to do to save the plant, i see now. Looks rather funny now ey lol. Well good luck with the rest of the grow, 4 weeks and you'll see what kind of yield you'll be getting

had to use pyrethrin spray.i do know the organic ways but infest was to advance for any to work.
i am a fan of exposing buds to direct light plus harvesting time its way neater and not leaf branches in the bud.
i have a ton of leaves still

I grow mostly auto's and top the majority of them. There is a good journal on here from a few years back of a grow that went real well for a guy who topped his auto's. He harvested 4oz off 1 plant... with pics posted. That's where I got the idea. I have one going now that I FIM'd and it's worked out too. Don't be afraid to top one and see what happens. It usually works out real good.

good to hear this from a experienced grower.
what have you noted for abuse differences in sativa vs indica
i have two sativa's i trimmed once with the indica and that's it.
my pruning technique is abnormal to most.

i jus pull fan leaves off the end product by their stalks, so im not left with any stalks in my bud anyways. What bugs did you have? You could try using plant esential oils as insecticide diluted in water, u shud check it out. Im doing a dissertatioon on essential oils against arthropods and there is alot of research into organic crop protection out there :) could b a little project. Do you have space limitation in your grow room? The pruning will stop them from growing big, but i dont know any other benefits, personally. I might change my mind when i see ur buds at day 65 or so though :P
