37 days in

Hi all

My moby dick auto is on day 37, just wondering if it looks on track,when will the buds start to bulk up ?.
It supposed to be a 60-65 day strain but i'm not so sure.

Its sure, they flower based on maturity/time passed not light schedule, so it will mature regardless - just slower under less optimal environment. Autos yield/stay smaller then typical photoperiod which has been vegged for month or two.

Wow quick reply thank you,yeah i read that about autos but for 37 days they look like they need more than another 25~ days or do they ?

Have not flowered auto yet personally, I'd let someone experienced with it give you reply to your question. You will be basing harvest time on trichomes color more so then anything, but as mentioned autos are a little different pace then photos, although I'm sure you still will beable to use 10x or 50-60x magnifying to see color of trichomes.

I'm sure in general plants will bulk up in end weeks of flowering, but autos are autos and under limited lighting probably won't form massive colas like photos vegged for 2 months under MH/HPS, what lighting are you using btw just curious what you grew that auto with.

Its my first grow and bit of an experiment really,i let it grow outside on sunny days and indoors at night i just grabbed a 46w cfl,its in a really small space and the lower wide leaves have to be tucked up a bit.

No biggie, to get maximum potential growth you want a bit more lumens though, autos will generally cap out for experienced growers at certain oz's per strain, but that doesn't really apply to us as inexperienced growers, they have setups dialed in, and lights ect.

Yeah,i just jumped in at the deep end got a seed planted it and THEN started to read up on things and was quite startled at the wealth of info and how very basic my setup was but to be honest i'm loving learning about it all.
