35 Gallon Rubbermaid - 110W CFL - **Flowering**

What's up RIU!

Have been at this grow for a little over a month now. Using a single rubbermaid tote on my second design. First setup I had used foil tape and mylar(emergency blanket) with smaller passive intakes and had entirely too many heat issues, so I scrapped that design and went with what I've got listed below. Since the inception of this grow I had 8 seeds germinated, 7 of which I've kept to flower. Without using feminized seeds, 7/7 have turned out to be female.:o

I'm aware I SHOULD be using larger containers than 16oz party cups, 44oz gas station cup, and 32oz plastic tub; BUT due to height restrictions I've stayed with these on my choice. I'm aware this will decrease yield but it will also keep me well within my height constraints and allow me to get a few more plants per cycle.

Below you'll find pictures of each stage of this grow, including a picture or two of the original scrapped design. Pictures are in reverse order(mostly).

Setup Details:
35 gallon Sterelite(rubbermaid, whatever) Tote
4" desk fan to help keep CFL's cool
10" Desk fan - "Natural" breeze
(Currently) - 1 26w 2700k bulb & 2 42W 2700k bulbs
1 - 2"x12" passive intake
1 - 120mm PC fan for exhaust(very quiet) with light trap
8 Crosbred Purple Mazar/Santa Ryder Seeds

Very cool! will be back to see how these are doing and give some rep, have to wait 24 hours. Awesome cfl grow!

Cacamal - Thanks! Appreciate the feedback. So far, so good.

CNine - The only thing I've used is MG African Violet Food(7-7-7) and Molasses for every watering. I've only used plain water one time. BTW: Soil is just Seed Starter mix, working great for me and no added nutes to it. I tried using MG Organic prior and had deadly results with a batch prior to these, so since I've switch to the seed starter with no issues at all.

damn....looks like u MIGHT yeild3-4 grams a plant, NICE! i have the same prob in my grow, from the top of my pot to the lights maximum height is only 1 foot lol, so im just gonna lst the FUK out of it...if u wanna check my progress my grow is in my sig

I have no idea what I can really expect WKBC. At the low end I'm guessing 7-10. Absolute maximum 20g's. Either way I'll be happy with any return I get. I've got $35 total into the setup so anything more than 2g's is net profit to me. I've still got over 60 seeds for the next round too, so as soon as these get close to finishing I'm going to start germing the next batch.

Lala- Thanks for the feedback, if I yield 3-4 per plant I'll shit. I appreciate the optimisim, I'll hope you're 100% right though lol.

Gotcha. I got three girls in MG seedstarter too. And three more in some happy frog. Are to doing 12/12 from the start?

nice to see someone else using a rubbermaid. So foil tape did you no good? thats what im using now with a semi mediocre ventilation system and temps are anywhere from 85-75. Have a new fan on the way that should help that a bit...

subbed, and gl.

Ginger - No. Foil tape and emergency blanket in a closet kept my temps well above 85 which I wasn't going to deal with. So I scrapped that design, went with 2 layers of flat black, 2 layers of flat white, and a 4mil pandapoly door on one side of the rubbermaid for access. It works well and temps are exceptionally great. At max I've reached 82*

that was a guess based on the fact they still have all white hairs, you still have ALOT of calyx swelling to go through untill u reach the end of the tunnel, check out my baby in my sig and lemme know what you think

Not bad not bad. I have one 35 gallon right now and working on another to stack on top. I think im just gonna leave the foil on the bottom tub since it was a pain in the ass to get there in the first place and it is light proof, but for the top tub ive already painted with black just gotta paint white now. Waiting for a new fan to come in (240 cfm pc fan ac wired... should do the trick for exhaust) then i'll have my flowering tub setup ready to go. Check out my grow if you need something to compare against.

Hi Everybody! *Excuse my Dr. Nick Simpsons reference*

Everything is looking much fatter, although they are all still pretty white haired, nothing looking like it has much age.

If I can get some insight from you guys, how much longer would you wait to harvest? I've cut down the two smallest runts, one of which showed hermie on me so I wasn't going to let it go any longer. Seedless please. The pictures attached show the smallest one I chopped up and am letting dry currently(the herm). The first one I cut, dried and smoked gave me a soaring, heart racing, not-stoned high. So I decided I'd wait these last decent sized ones out.

Take a look and give me some feedback please. ENJOY
