30x microscope

I have read in a lot of places on this site and others that using a 30x microscope is the best way to tell when plants are ready... I was just wondering if a 30x jewlers loupe magnifying glass will do the same job?

yes and it will do it much better than a scope due to the wider lens

i tell my plants are done by lookin at the calaxes and makin sure the bud is nice and hard ....also if you give em 8 weeks for sure .....u doin good .

of course i run a perpetual crop setup and dont know when the new ones go in ...so the 8 week thing is out ....but makin sure the buds are hard and full makes a good indicator of when to pick em

Ive had them flowering for 9 weeks now although it says it should take 60-65 days so just waiting a few more days. the buds dont really look like something i would usually smoke though, will this change in the last few days?
