300 watt CFL!

I just picked up two 300 watt CFL's today. Has anyone else seen them this big? Their fucking so bright you cant look at them and have a built in fan on each.

Didnt even kno they made 300W cfls lol, u should post a few pics, closeup and far ones , and maybe have something beside it to judge the size of it.
 
I got one... fuck I can't post a pic till morning when my roomate gets home. Ya, it's so big, it kinda made me laugh.
 
Yes. I own one. I bought it from Worms way too!!. I am on my second grow. Unfortunetly, like a dumbass, I got paranoid about 4-5weeks into my first grow and killed it.:>(.

It grew quite well for the 4 to 5 weeks I had it. A good learning experience. I went out and bought some after I killed it :>( I do not know how this ight flowers though. Hopefully I will be able to find out shortley.

Has anyone flowered with CFL's? Has anyone grown good with less then what I have? If having 1 or 2 plants when they flower what kind of odor can I expect?

I would greatly appreciate some answers. Thanks.:?
 
from what i understand even though the yield is obviously lower the thc content is higher and the turpines more active producing a better taste/smell :) i just love the power of hps :)

yeah man i have two 250 watt CFL's.
I was gonna grab the 300's but didnt have enough lol they're kinda expensive.
 
Mine only costed $17 each. They are self ballasted and the ballast even has a small fan insode it. Last night was their first run and I constantly monitored temp. Never exceeded 35 degrees C. The ladies also responded quite well. My HPS was causing some intense stretching and now all my inner folliage is exploding!

no hps.... for now;)

just (2) T8 fixtures 4 bulbs, 2 of the bulbs are the 'daylight' and the other 2 are 'plant and aquarium'.
Supplimenting that are (2) 150W cfls on reflectors and a huge 300W cfl on my big momma.

35 c is that the bulb temp or room temp? if thats room temp your baking em
 
FUCK YESSSSSSS !i just picked up 2 of these myself 2 days ago and put'em to work immediately,over the past couple of days im noticing some fattening up maybe im just hopeful but i would like to think its real....also im at 12/12 as of 3 weeks ago..SUBSCRIBED..also i got mine at the depot and they were like $15 plus tax..yussir..and i also laughed as i opened the box and saw a freakin football size 300w cfl bulb
