300+ watt CFL w/ feminized Afghan Skunk ( My 4th Grow/Log/Journal)

Hey all, long time no talk! Got a little over 5 oz from both plants (combined weight)...I'll be back up and running with a new grow in a few months!

SOOOOOO....I just ordered seeds and a new (larger) light setup! In about 2 weeks I should have everything up and running, and my 5th grow will be underway. I'm going to keep a journal going just as I did with my other previous grows. Thanks everyone for following along before, and thanks for the advice, support, and comments. More to come soon!

Nice run. I recently finished mine, I was using more CFLs than you (all of mine were the little compact ones, 23w and 40w mixed), my total watts were over 440+. I got about 5.5 ounces total from two plants. One was a GSC which is potent but seems to produce lower yields by weight, if they had both been Casey Jones it would have been over 6.5 ounces.

All things considered, I think that what we got is pretty good for CFLs. I'm happy with it. That said, I'm still trying LEDs for my current run. I just can't leave well enough alone. The flavor, trichomes, overall stickiness of the CFL buds is awesome. Density wasn't super tight, but I think its actually more forgiving when you dry and cure them if they aren't hard as a rock. The high is awesome. The primary reason I'm experimenting with LED is because watt for watt it seems to run significantly cooler, and that's an issue in my situation. Summer indoor will be a challenge for me, I thought about taking the summer off but... the closets... they seemed so empty....

Here we grow again...going to transplant her to a 5 gallon pot tomorrow! She's about 3 inches from the new 250 watter. Temps at 80-82f, all's good...here are some pics. She should take off soon! Stick around friends.
