After tracking down a few ph and mineral issues these gals are much happier. This grow has been an educatioin in PH. The bloom room is still 400HPS and a 400HID with a few cfls placed close to the canopy. I am pretty pleased with them right now. temps are ranging from 63-76 humidity has been pretty dry this year 30-35% in the basement. The plants get watered every few days depending on their needs. Let the Blooming Commence!

I really like this plant!!

These are the four Clones I took just before flowering the above plant.

IMG_20130109_195229_454.jpg
They are all happily rooted and growing. I potted them up two weeks ago, they have recovered nicely and are ready for their own condo. I am debating topping these, the two on the right have naturally occuring split tops already. They are just taller than a foot and have 5/6 nodes each. I am excited about that.

My personal opinion but Id train that main cola so its level with the rest of your plant. Youll be able to get your lights much closer and get a much better yield off the rest of the plant instead of just that main cola.

I am going to level it off with some topping and training next time. I am going to reveg it after she finishes in a 5/7 gallon. She's about 4 ft tall right now.

I thought I would add an up date. These are all plants of the same seed.

kola1.jpgThis is proud mamma standing tall. Turned to flower Dec 12th..but I screwed up the timer so it's give or take a day or two..

kola2.jpgThese are two of the cuttings off of her above. They have been topped and were just placed in the bloom room today, took two starts off of each one.

kola3.jpgTwo of the four cuttings chillin in the cloner

kola4 (2).jpgTried my hand at killing my plant.. I read a bunch before I did this.. I have two plants with two natural tops. I am planning on doing this to the other.

I am sure its been done but I think I have a technique that might be useful.. I have a picture I will try to add, I can't get it for some reason, but basically you take a small..1/4" bamboo and roll the stem between it and your thumb to soften up the stem prior to bend.
IMG_20130116_100243_303.jpg
I did the bondage this morning and the tops are ALREADY mostly turned up! I think it will be a success. I let the bent stalk lay over loosely tied to some Bamboo to help it out. Its pretty much holding itself up now.

I am going to let these veg for a bit and try and train em for few weeks..maybe a month? By then I will have the room extended..lights added, Looking at switching soon to DWC. That's a pretty big change for this dirt farmer.. I just barely got a nice rotation started, should be spittin out a few zips every couple weeks towards the middle of feb..so I am not sure when the change will come, likely summer.

Anyway, I would love some feedback. I have a few more pics to add for some reason I got roadblocked on my phone. Peace

This site has been pretty helpful! I have big aspirations for the next phase..adding another 800W. expanding the room a little..adding a box. But for the most part I am pretty happy with it. This plant has been real fun to grow.

The plant above really took well to the training, this is 24 hrs later. Going to have a few more wks of Veg I believe. The main room is sooo crowded right now anyway.

IMG_20130117_124223_678.jpg

I may bend this one today, I'm waiting to see if it pops a little inside..It is getting a little tall for the "box"

IMG_20130119_135133_935.jpgIMG_20130119_135540_055.jpg

Thought I would put an update out on the whole room. I have never had it looking this happy. It is filling up fast.

IMG_20130119_140809_245.jpgEven in the Gallery..
This is a funny thing, I had a small pile of cuttings that were going away..from the revegges.. This one was in the trash growing out of some rockwool..I figured if it wants to live that bad I would spare it some dirt and a view from the gallery..I bet when its done it adds its fair share.

My 2 recent top jobs are now in the bloom room and just in time. They really beefed up and and are showing early pistils. I would have like to have vegged them another two weeks but the veg box is crowded so I put them in a little early I think. All is well. They muscled up almost overnight. I will be pulling plants in two weeks and will have what resembles a "rotation" of two plants every two weeks or so. I may have to pull a few early to accomodate but I don't mind that one bit. In two weeks they are going to be popping out the door! They have recovered from the topping and I do think they will be alright.

The buds on my big mama are nice, dense..light yellow frosty color..Definately a keeper, cannot wait to see her phatten up.

I went ahead and gave em all a bit of molasses the last few waterings, using the 0-10-10 fish..no nitrogen from here out.,. AND OF COURSE PHed my H2O.. I can tell they like it.. They are drinking everything I give them..I will be bringing in a couple five gallon pots next go for sure.

Peace all

Pic 1.. This one I bent last night..she is recovering quickly. Clones rooting in pic 2. The two sisters, the one on the right was bent last week and is knuckling up, LAst pic just different light.

Peace

Here we are about halfway done.. I think my bushes might be a little further out, the one in the 2 gallon pot is doing surprisingly well. Sorry the pics are hps..I will take some normal ones at lights out tonight, There are hundreds of sites that will be 2-3g each dry, they are dense and compact. I could not be happier. This is going to be my best yet! Seems they do most of their growing toward the end of the day cycle. I am very pleased.. I cant wait to see what happens with

Ha..hit the send button to fast.. but as I was going to finish,..with my additional space and five gallon pots soon, I can only imagine, These plants are Finally coming through, I see an lb on the next go around. Any guesses so far for this one??? It is very difficult not to sneak some off, good thing my "dispensary" buddy had some chocolope from last fall. pretty good stuff there. I cannot believe these still have at least 3 weeks left, they are going to be huge, the bushes are finally starting to show their frost..and do I dare say a but of bluish purple..definately some pink pistols.

I had aspiration to start learning DWC but I think I have a little more Dirt time in me. One more round!

Looks great man!
I hope at least SOME of mine turn out like your pic #1

Wait until you see what her babies do! I have two ALREADY in the flower room that I fimmed, plus two natural two toppers I have in veg/bondage, I bent them over, waiting to get the knuckle built a little before I fim them. A friend of mine gave me a bunch of seeds in baggies that were from a seedbank went defunke..well they were labled Panama Red, I am not seeing that but it has an incredible citrus/pineapple/lemon smell. She has been an amazing plant to grow, Can't wait to see what the final yield is, I might get two zips..main top is about 12 inches now..my best to date.

I have 30 seeds and my buddy has another 200 or so.. :hump:

Fighting every bit the urge to start cutting.. One...more...week...the frost is starting to thick, the buds are sticky. Fortunately the pollen sacs haven't popped any more.. I have a headache from looking for nanners.. I think those few sacs were limited to the braches I removed.

Moving along.

Ok here we are. I have had a busy month in the bloom room. My two plant every two week plant seems to be coming along. I have about a four week gap I guess..but who is counting. These have been in bloom about 4-5 wks. There are two Jack frost, in early bud, two more PRed that I just repotted and flipped. They are going to be silly.

Still have the two 400's 1/HPS 1/MH. The HPS is on a mover. I plan on just dropping a pair of 600's in there soon. The mover is traded off for some Willie clones. Just when I figured out how to time it and stuff.. I will get another one. My buddy wants to try it on his 2/1000 watt boom. I have it for three more weeks or so..unless I find my new lights sooner. Movers are great there is no question about that. BUt the level of light I want can be achieved without it perty easy as it is still only 80 ft2. Enjoy!

fourprmar18.jpgGood pic of the Panama Red plot. on the left are two at @4-5wks in about the same veg time, I would have to refer back..but they are in previous posts. On the right are the two cuttings I took from the first mother. They were in flower @ 2wks just showing a tight little knot on top. They took a while to get going but have thrown five or six main stems each.
jackfrost2.jpgOne of the new Jack Frost. Reaching for the light!
polytopmar18.jpg Love this thing..gonna be the size of a baseball.. maybe bigger I think it has 5 heads in there ther are two on the back side.
topsmar18.jpgThese are the two plants that were forked when I took the cuttings. MY oh MY! I really went big on the pots, let them get a good veg, built some nice root balls..to the right are cuttings from the same mother but taken after bud sites formed on the mother. Out the top of those suckers popped 4-6 main stems each. I will be doing some spreading and training on them for sure.
