The do look small for 3 weeks.

Thats what i thought.. They are in black gold organic soil and i hate it to be honest lol it hardens up and is mulchy. Thinking that may be the problem? They light is 2 bestva 1000s. 220watt from wall. PH is 6.3 in soil. Idk if i should feed them or not next week because this soil is supposed to be full of nutrients idw to overfeed them.

Yeah, straight up soil with no airation like perlite added can slow down root growth and if roots have a harder time growing then it slows down plant growth. It will still grow fine, it just might take a little longer which not the best thing for an auto.

Next time focus on growing roots. Make your medium light and airy. Lots of drainage like perlite or pumice. This will also allow more oxygen to get to your roots which unlike the plant that needs CO² to grow, roots need oxygen or they suffer. If you grow a healthy root system, more times than not the plant follows.

Yea I studied up on the soil im using and it has perlite in it a good amount and is actually really light almost like coco but for some reason it just gets so damn hard after drying up thats my issue i think.
