3" of New Growth damaged

Mannnnn when I say I'm pissed to fuck and I could slapp right now is an understatment. So I adjust the lights be4 I go to work this morning so when the light come on everything is in position, when my ceiling hook falls out and the lights crash on the plants. I mean I had to cut 3" of new growth out and I don't know what to do. Go ahead and send it to flowering, because basically I just topped the plant and I do see something good coming for this, or send it back to veg? When would topping the plant be good? Can't you topp the plant right be4 the flowering stage? Imma take pics to show damage after I get off but what should I do?

you can top any time you want to..... so you can throw it into flower if you want, or keep veggin it. whatever you want to do

Naw man I don't ya'll understand. The plant is super bushy and I think this could come out somewhat a blessing. But if I flower wouldn't it create 4 top instead of 2? I seen some white hairs but not 100% sure if it female or not but hopefully she can recover.

if you flower, the plant will look the same as it does now, just taller..... she will recover just fine....

whatever stage the plant was in (like if it was veggin for instince) leave it in that stage. or you can force flower it right now.... the choice is up to you.....

That's the thing. I was just about to send them to flower. I sent the plant to 36 total hour darkness. And is set to go on in 7 hours. Fuck it imma just send it to flower tonight and hopefully pull 2-4 phat nugs off the top. Like I said "it could be a blessing"
