after about a week (3-4 days germ and a day in the soil) i have 3 new plants under 1 26watt CFL. and ones taller than the others by like 2 CM is it gunna bother the other ones and make them stretch if i move the lights up from 3 inch from soil to it being higher up?

You know what? that one CFL isn't gonna be enough soon. You might as well get some more NOW. You should get higher wattage CFLs (at least 40 watters) and at least one for each plant (for now). Later you'll wanna get probably 2 per plant.

i have others and for 2 day old seedlings its enough.

im growing these plants to be short (1-2 feet) and going to use lights in a surgstrip y connectors make me feel like my plant doesnt have enough light because it doesnt go above the plant it gos around it like on the side or somthing i know where i can jack a light (175watt metal halide for flowering) and im flowering at like 1 foot so i can plant all year round and have alot of weed.

heres my problem wit y connectors the way the lights come out is an akward position does it matter if the side of the bulbs are 3 inch away from each plant (its hard to place on seedlings they r too small)

ty for helping me man

as a seedling, light position isnt as important. when it gets around 6 inches or more is when it starts to become crucial
