Why don't YOU tell US?
Basically all you do is spout off at the cop being disrespectful acting smarter than him. Throw a couple “I know my rights in there” and a couple “see you in court” what am I missing @gb123 ? I think that’s a quick way to a 2inch mattress and a cheese sandwich.

I've never been disrespectful to a cop - no need. I'm smarter than most of them and I can speak very well when needed. I can tell someone to go fuck themselves and they'll think it was a compliment...and I do regularly. You don't need to get rude to explain your point of view and be convincing. Cops in BC do not lay charges - they refer it to the crown, so some light-hearted education will do them good. Crown will only charge if there is a 'substantial expectation of conviction'. Cops are not gods and if they don't have absolute proof that I'm impaired, they are not going to bother arguing. Facts are facts, and a 5 ng thc reading does not prove impairment. Feel free to kiss ass and bend over on command, but I have no worries about demanding my rights be respected. It hasn't failed me in 55 years. If I need to explain it to a judge, I'm good with that too.

Re-reading my post and I need to make a correction. I have been guilty of being rude to cops during my drinking days - alcohol exasperated my 'big mouth / small filter syndrome. lol
