considering there hasnt been a constitutional convention since 1787, i dont see much chance of it going down now.
most people wouldnt trust the current crop of pols with their lunch money, much less the constitution.

there is NO consensus on how to do it.
just like your specious "Global Warming Consensus" claims, the agreement is on the general idea (yes there is warming, and yes humans may be causing some of it) but then you go off the rails insisting that this means youre right, the science is settled and everybody who disagrees with YOUR conclusions in specific, are "Deniers"
a huge percentage of the population agrees that the economy needs to be repaired, this does not conclude that everybody want to throw a proletarian revolution and embrace marxism.
