3 day flush question

I just found out im moving to a house about 7 days from now. So I cut my Bubba kush and threw it into a bucket with a bubbler on the bottom stem.

My question is ,

Do I need to do a flush if it only was flowered for 6 weeks? It was fed FF tiger and bloom nutes.

If I do Then do I required a bubbler stone or can I just use the tube on the bottom of the stem?

you don't require a flush at all, however many chemicals are broken down with metabolic processes and converted to things which effect the taste less, and most people prefer (less harsh). Regardless, after you chop a plant, there are still metabolic processes going on, mostly determined by remaining moisture. I'd imagine putting the stem in water would help slow the death, but that's just from experience with other plants, haven't tried it with this one. You certainly wouldn't want to put it in water with nutes, so that might as well be your flush... The slower you can dry without a rot the less your lack of flush will matter, as the longer you will get biological processes. Curing also helps to break down enzymes and things, and is a separate process to drying, so don't neglect that either.

Okay Thanks For the reply Appreciate it, I thought you had to flush for 2 weeks prior to harvest with water and if you didnt do that you could do the 3 day emergency flush with a bucket of water and a bubbler, but thats great to hear, Im going to just hang them up and get them out of that bucket! +rep

have you ever tried water curing? im not a big fan of it anymore, but if your worried about not being able to flush before you cut it then you could try it w/a little bit and see what you think. All you do is take some sort of container and fill it with water, something thats easy to dump out helps. now gently place your bud in there and make sure youve got no air bubbles in it, now put something in to hold the bud down that water can sort of move through, ive used a fork or a broken salt/pepper shaker myself. Now again make sure their are no air bubbles, the next day your water will be greenish and kind of *dirty* looking, this is chlorophyl and other stuff escaping, dump the water out gently and re-fill making sure no air bubbles again. Now repeat that process till the water is clear when you check it, hang it up and let it dry and your good to go.
