2unknown strains, from 6" clones

Hey there, figured I'd start one of these journals for myself. I'm currently at week 4 of veg since I got the clones. Once The flower box is completly built I will be starting flower. Hopefully within the next couple days.Any feedback will be appreicated. :weed:

Setup,
Light- 400w MH/HPS Hydrofarm with switchable ballast and both bulbs.
Veg room- Spare Bedroom Closet
Flower room- Spare Bedrooms Bathroom with 4'x3'x6' box vented to bathroom exhaust fan.
Nutes- Full line of Technaflora products.
Soil- Crap

Hey all, just finished the construction of the flower box. And just switched lighting to 12/12 after 24 hours of darkness. Here's the pics of the process. Do you guys think this box is tall enough to accomodate these girls?. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can anyone help me? After putting my girls in 24 hr darkness and then watering them with there first flowering nute. I put them in the flower box and after there first day in flower the leaves are "claw" looking curling down sharply at the end. I used the search here and got three related threads. But came up with no real answer to my specific scenario. Temps in the room with light on are around 85 degrees.

too hot,
do you have a fan circulating the air? or just an exauset fan, whats the cfm rating?
check your moisture levels in the soil,
check the size of your pots compared to your plant, check your ph, and then just wait a bit and see if any more signs of deficiencies or problems surface.
but without co2 85 is too hot

The exhaust fan is actually the fan in the ceiling of my spare bathroom, with a cardboard box over it attached to the duct that sucks from the top of the box. On the left side of the box there is 2" of open intake all across the bottom. The light is about 10" from the plants. And as for the light I love it too. I got the best deal on it I paid $150 for the switchable ballast the reflector and both kinds of bulbs for it of my local craigslist. Thanks for the info, when I get home tonight i'm probobly gonna flush them. I beleive there 3 gallon pots, so how much water should I put through the pots for flushing?.

I think you have that light too close. Without a power ventilated light a 400 watter shoud be 16-18" from the top of the plants. Post picks of the curling leaves. It sure sounds like heat stress.

Hey guys, I put a big box fan in the room to circulate air better. And after further inspection of the leaves. I believe I have some kinda mites allover my plants they almost look a red color to the buggers. any good Ideas on how to rid them?. I've been in flower for 1 week now, and I'm starting to see the bud sites and preflowers. Any help would be great.

Havent had a bug problem yet man but I did get this stuff from Fox Farms that kills any fucken thing on contact and it is ok to use on your flowers granted you don't spray the shit out of them the day you harvest them. It is called "Dont Bug Me" and like I said it is from fox farms. You should be able to get it online if your local hydro store doesn't already carry it. I got my bottle for 13 bucks. Read the instructions and kill those fucks as SOON as you can. Good luck man.
