2nd week vegative process

i have four whit widow seeds now sprouted to about 3-4 inches tall,i have them on a 400w hps bulb (18 on 6 off) its my first grow so still looking for tips and ideas to help me,the only thing is i have four leaves at the top of my stem,but the stems are thin and long.Is this the way it is supposed to grow or am i doing something wrong

keep that light two feet from your seedlings... if they fall over, prop them up with a stick and a twist tie.

Once established, get that light 6-8" away if air cooled.

You don't want to be. They'll stretch all on their own, you just want to make sure they don't stretch too much.
